From December 1, 2021 to December 25, 2021, the department’s teachers successfully completed an international internship at the University of Bielsko-Biała (Republic of Poland).
Purpose of the business trip abroad (internship program): improving skills in the field of cyber and information security, development and implementation of automated systems. Expanding knowledge in the field of information technology, studying new approaches and principles of information technology security.
During the internship, the following tasks were completed:
− familiarization with the features of organizing the educational process using innovative information technologies at the Department of Informatics and Automation;
− studying the experience of implementing a project approach in organizing the educational process in European universities;
− familiarization with the classrooms and educational and methodological support of the laboratory of technical information protection of the Department of Informatics and Automation, the laboratory of telecommunications and computer networks of the Department of Informatics and Automation;
− familiarization with the scientific research areas of the Department of Informatics and Automation of the University of Bielsko-Biała;
− preparation of abstracts for the international conference “Inżynier XXI wieku”.
The faculty members of the Department of Cybersecurity and Information Technologies successfully upgraded their qualifications within the framework of the Cisco Academy Program. They completed the CCNA CyberOps and Network Security courses and completed STEM internships in network security and network intrusion analysis.
The training took place at the Cisco Academy at the National Technical University
“Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute”.
At the end of June 2021, the department’s teachers received relevant certificates for advanced training in the amount of 180 hours.
