The goal of the nationwide IT Cup 

  • increase the overall level of computer and mathematical training of high school students in Ukraine;
  • to provide students with theoretical and practical material of high academic value;
  • create an inspiring space where high school students can pursue their scientific ambitions, communicate with like-minded people, and learn useful information;
  • motivate participants to learn new things and take part in competitions;
  • help high school students navigate IT specialties, introduce them to IT companies and technical education. 

Features of the IT Cup “KHARKIV TRIPLE THREAT”

  • combination of theory and practice in three subjects; 
  • teaching educational material that is above school level;
  • equal opportunities for participants with different levels of training thanks to the creation of two leagues: teams from physics and mathematics classes and teams from other classes;
  • Gamification and engagement from the very first minute: each lecture is accompanied by tests, during which participants earn competition points. 
  • information and mentoring support from teachers;
  • cups and prizes for winners, gifts for participants.

Tournament details

Two leagues. First League – teams of physics and mathematics classes. Second League – teams from general education classes.

Commands. There is no limit to the number of teams from a single educational institution. 

Participants. Three participants per team. Students from the same educational institution are involved in the teams.

Classes in three subjects will be held daily: mathematics, computer science, and English.

Each class will consist of theoretical and practical parts. 

 The tournament consists of tasks from the above-mentioned disciplines. Each discipline is allocated 1.5 hours. After the tournament, participants will have the opportunity to ask questions to the teachers. Our goal is to make sure every participant feels the drive to win and is motivated to learn programming.
